Elaine Mandrish Everitt and
John Cater Everitt are the owners
of the Hotel California compound in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
John was born in London (UK)
but spent much of his life in
Brandon, Manitoba, Canada
teaching geography at Brandon University
He retired from the cold to the Caribbean in 2008. Elaine was born in Wallasey,
Cheshire, England, but spent much
of her life in Ontario, Canada. She
moved to the BVI in 2000. Elaine
works for Robert H. Schaffer and
Associates, a company based in
Stamford, Connecticut, USA.
John and Elaine met at Leicester 
University (UK) in 1965 and were
married in June 2008 on the beach
at the Sugar Mill Hotel on Tortola.
They live with Dylan, their dog who
helps to manage the Casablanca rental Villa.
